How to Make a Vegan Cannabis Milkshake
This all-natural, vegan twist on the classic Shamrock Shake is the perfect way to celebrate the official day of Saint Patrick.
If you’ve made a vanilla milkshake before, then you already know how to make this healthy(ish) twist on the iconic Shamrock Shake. Just swap out the ice cream for a dairy-free substitute and amp up the flavor with fresh, sweet herbs. What this vegan milkshake lacks in neon food coloring, it makes up for in green—if you know what we mean.
The Cannabis-Infused Shamrock Shake
Makes 1 serving.
Ingredients:
- 1 pint vegan mint chip ice cream
- ¼ cup non-dairy milk
- 1 bunch fresh mint leaves (plus additional for garnish)
- 1/8 tsp (or one generous pinch) sea salt
- Your favorite cannabis tincture
Equipment:
- Blender
Combine the ice cream, non-dairy milk, mint leaves, and sea salt in a blender.
Read the dosing guidelines on the side of your favorite cannabis tincture and add 1 serving to the mixture. Blend until smooth, adding a splash of non-dairy milk if necessary.
Pour into a glass. If desired, top with Weed-Infused Whipped Cream, chocolate shavings, and a few fresh mint leaves. Serve immediately, and enjoy!
How to Throw a Saint Patrick’s Day Party
